Pastoral
Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care is an important and essential aspect of the life of the Church at Emmanuel. We are blessed to receive solid teaching every Sunday on Bible truths that are lived through by our Vicar.
The congregation enjoys fellowship with each other and is prepared to minister and receive pastoral attention, through prayer, practical help and listening to each other. Sharing God’s Love and the Hope that we have through His son Jesus, for healing and wholeness.

The following aspects of pastoral care are practised in confidence, through our Vicar and pastoral coordinator.

Empathic Listening and Praying
Comforting and enabling
Holy Communion and the Laying on of Hands.
Prayer Chain, linking members of the church, to prayer for each other .
Prayer and Intersession for community and the parish .
Practical help and support if that is requested .
Active Social calendar .
House Visiting on request .
Hospital Visiting

The Vicar is available for the parishioners after service on Sunday and can be contacted by e-mail.
